Protests sweep Greece as teachers, workers and youth join Europe-wide upsurge

Students, teachers and public sector workers marched in more than 50 Greek towns and cities Wednesday, met by 3,000 police in Athens, as the Mitsotakis government vowed Greece would not “become like the streets of Paris.”
