Trades Union Congress uses “Burnham bounce” to fall into line with more austerity and war

The alignment of the bureaucracy and pseudo-left with Burnham is most starkly exposed on the issue of war. The TUC’s call for “prioritising investment in workers and public services” replaced any stated opposition to increased military spending.
